Scam Season
Please grab a WSJ from the back of the room and read the article titles "Scam Season" pg 15 and answer the following questions. Tou may answer the questions on your blog or in a word document and print it.

1. How are cyber criminals savvier today than in the past?

2. The article explains new cellphone crimes. Why do they work so well?

3. Have online scammers tried to rip you off before? Please provide some details.

4. What would you tell people to help them avoid these scams. Provide 2 tips to avoid getting ripped off.

6. Consumer Web Watch releases the top 10 internet scams every year. For the past 5 years Auction Fraud has been the top scam. Please describe what Auction Fraud is and how it works.
